We Get a Crew, We Break In
Surly: "Okay, we get a crew, we break in, but we do it my way… Let's go over the plan. That's us. There's the nut shop. We rob the nut shop and then stuff ourselves silly all winter."
Surly knows that in order for his park friends to all survive, Surly needs to break into the nut shop and gather enough for for them all for winter. It won't be easy, but Surly has a plan.
Holy Macadamia!
Surly: "Holy macadamia! Lunch is served! … We've gotta get those nuts! These nuts are ours! … You guys smell like burnt nuts or something? Is that me?"
Raccoon: "He's destroyed our only food for winter!"
Surly drools when he sees the nut cart below, full of delicious, nutritious nuts. But when he goes in for the steal, he ends up destroying the cart entirely and making him the outcast of his crew who now has no food for winter.

Precious, the curious pug, really wants to join Surly and company on their mission to break into the nut store. Precious goes to great lengths to show her worth, mainly in silly dog tricks. Surprisingly, it works.
I Do Not Dig
Surly: "We dig here, from the alley into the basement."
Mole: "I do not dig!"
Jimmy: "Because you're blind as a bat!"
Mole: "What? Who said that?"
Surely Surly would have the mole dig, as that what moles do, right? Not so fast. As Jimmy points out, this mole, and his blindness, make him less than the optimal choice.

Raccoon: "This could be our salvation for winter. Surly, you must bring back the nuts but beware, your quest will not be easy. Are you a hero or not?"
Racoon, open to Surly plan to bring salvation, not to mention a winter's worth of food, back to the park, encourages Surly in the task. This is Surly chance to prove once and for all that he is a hero.

Surly: "We're going to get in and feed the park for winter."
Mole: "Are you nuts?"
Buddy: "The humans have the whole place rigged!"
Surly: "It's not going to be easy but we're talkin' almonds, pistachios, walnuts and did I mention the peanut brittle?"
Jimmy: "Is that a candy or a nut?"
Surly: "Both"
Surly knows breaking into the nut shop will be difficult, especially with the traps the humans have set up, but with great risk comes great reward, most notably, peanut brittle.
