The Most Disturbing Disney Cartoons Ever

Do you love the wonderful world of Disney? Have you always admired the shining role models Disney has provided for kids throughout the decades? If so, then you may have come to the wrong place. You see, although Disney has produced countless magical moments over the years, here you’ll find a collection of the most disturbing Disney cartoons ever.

These offensive Disney cartoons chronicle the other side of the Magic Kingdom. Be warned: this collection of mostly older cartoons is incredibly shocking and disturbing. So if you’re not up for scarring your inner child with nightmares of Mickey in black face, you may want to turn back now. You’re about to enter a world of racist Disney cartoons that cannot be unseen.

Though the phrase “creepy Disney cartoons” may seem like an oxymoron, here you’ll find everything from Disney’s disturbing attempts to help out with the war effort to cringe-worthy examples of how Mickey wasn’t always the sensitive, politically-correct mouse we’ve come to know and love. Whether you’re a woman, a racial minority, or just a parent who’d be horrified to find your kid watching a cartoon of Donald Duck joining the Nazi party, we can guarantee you’ll find something here to offend pretty much everyone.

The following weird Disney cartoons range from overly graphic attempts to warn kids of the dangers of Nazism to awkward puberty videos and instances of racism so blatant they’ll make your jaw drop. Though you’ll see some of your favorite Disney icons in new and horrifying ways, the bright side is, you’ll also get a pretty clear picture of just how far society has come in the last 80 years. So if you’re ready and willing to set years of therapy into motion, we give you some of the most disturbing Disney cartoons ever.

The Most Disturbing Disguise Ever Caught on Film

In 1933, Disney released a cartoon in which the Big Bad Wolf sports one of the most offensive disguises ever. In attempting to get the pigs to open the door, he appears as a every bad Jewish stereotype in the book all rolled into one big caricature.
Peter Pan's Native American Pals

As it turns out, Disney's Peter Pan is one of those films that may feel different adult than it did when you were a kid. Specifically, check out the song, "What makes a Red Man Red," which successfully packs every Native American stereotype in the book into a three minute tune.

What the Hell?

Every now and then Disney may push the envelope a bit with their cartoon villains. but in 1929 they learned the hard way that making an entire cartoon about hell a bad idea. Above, you'll find Satan feeding his three headed dog in the ultra-creepy "Hell's Bells."

Mickey's African Adventures

In the 1932 cartoon "Trader Mickey" Mickey and Pluto are featured, for whatever reason, transporting a shipload of instruments down the African coast. Things go awry however, when they are captured by a band of African tribesmen who attempt to eat them while trying to figure out what these strange objects called "instruments" are. Although Mickey ends up dancing a happy jig with the African natives in the end, their depiction remains cringe-worthy almost a century later.
Mickey's Middle Eastern Mishap

In the 1932 cartoon "Mickey in Arabia," Mickey Mouse finds himself in a jam while visiting the Middle East. After Minnie is kidnapped by a rape-y looking Arab, whose intentions for her are looking less than honorable, Mickey is forced to catapult in to save the day. Upon rescuing his girl however, he's met with a whole new slew of murder-y looking Arabs wielding swords.
From Grease to Guns

So apparently grease can be used to make bombs? In this short film, the narrator stops Pluto from consuming some left over grease so that he can instead show him how to use it to blow up the Nazis.
Disney's Awkward Period Piece

Thought learning about female body changes from your parents was awkward? Try learning about it from the maker of Mickey himself. That's right - in 1946, Disney released a fully animated, incredibly detailed cartoon entitled, "The Story of Menstruation" that was about exactly what you're afraid it is.
The Aristo-Racists?

Image may be NSFW.

Though The Aristocats is generally an unassuming tale about a bunch of singing kittens, that doesn't mean there isn't room for a little racism. Ever notice that Siamese cat with slant-y eyes playing piano with chopsticks? Not exactly PC.

Sunflower the Centaur's Not So Subtle Servant

Image may be NSFW.

Only in the magical world of Disney could a young boy who's half horse still manage to depict the embarrassing racial relations of the time. In one of the less flattering parts of Fantasia, the pretty white lady centaurs have a servant who turns out to be everything you're afraid he'll be and more.

50 Shades of Donald

Let's just say that Donald's punishment methods, which he later uses on these African tribesman in the 1954 film "Spare the Rod," might raise a few eyebrows today. Ultimately the depiction of the cannibalistic African natives was deemed so offensive that the cartoon was censored and cut down to about half its original length.

All Pixar Films, Ranked Best to Worst

When the worst Pixar movie you can think of is still better than almost every other animated movie in the last 50 years, you know you've got a good thing going. This list of all Pixar films is ranked best to "worst", but it's probably better to think of it as ranked from greatest to less great. Of the 13 Pixar movies that have been released, a good percentage are already on the list of the best movies ever, and the company has already found a place on the list of the top film franchises with the Toy Story trilogy (no doubt Cars isn't far behind).

From WALL-E to Finding Nemo, there is no shortage of quality coming out of Pixar studios. The hard part is deciding which Pixar films are best, and ranking them against each other, which is why this list of Pixar films exists.

What is the best Pixar movie? How many movies has Pixar made? You should be able to answer these questions after perusing the list of Pixar films ranked best to still ok, but not the best. Make sure to upvote your favorite Pixar movies so other fans will know just what the greatest Pixar movie really is.

Home Movie Quotes

Home movie quotes take viewers on a journey to see if two unlikely friends from different planets can find a home amongst a world of chaos. The animated adventure comedy was written by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember, and directed by Tim Johnson. Released by DreamWorks Animation, Home opened in theaters on March 27, 2015.

In Home, the alien race of Boov leaves their home planet in search of another to flee their enemies. Led by Captain Smek (voiced by Steve Martin), they come upon Earth and begin transporting the humans on the planet to another. One human, however, is left behind, a girl named Tip (voiced by Rihanna).

She soon meets one of the Boov, Oh (voiced by Jim Parsons), who, due to his mistakes, has been banished from his alien race. So together, Tip and Oh, along with Tip's cat, Pig, scour what is left of Earth in search of Tip's mother, Lucy (voiced by Jennifer Lopez). But this unlikely pair will have to face more than their differences as they try to discover the true meaning to having a home.

The animated comedy Home brings some family fun to theaters already showing a number of more grown up films such as Get Hard, Insurgent, Cinderella (2015), The Gunman, and Run All Night.

Is He Going to Explode?
Oh: Your vehicle is infested.
Tip: It's not infested. He's my pet. His name is Pig. Don't touch him.
Oh: Now he is vibrating... Is he going to explode?
Tip: No, he's just purring.
Oh: Why do you haves this thing? Is it useful? Does it give meat or milk?
Tip: What? Ew, no! You just have pets for fun and companionship.
Oh: You has me for fun and companion on this ship.
Tip: Yeah, well, Pig is better.
Oh: If Cat is Pig, what is your name?
Tip: My friends call me Tip.
Oh: I am Oh.
Tip: Oh?
Oh: I have been give this name by my many, many friends.

Oh meets a new friend in Tip's cat, Pig. He doesn't quite understand why Tip keeps an unproductive, vibrating pet, especially when she has him there for fun and companionship.
I Has Made a Few Mistakes
Tip: Why are they after you?
Oh: I has made a few mistakes.

Tip asks Oh why the Boov are after him. As Oh explains, he made some mistakes with his people and now they are holding him responsible.
Can I Come Into the Out Now?
Oh: Ahh!
Tip: Ahh! Gotcha!
Oh: What for are you did this? I am Boov!
Tip: I know what you are.
Oh: Can I come into the out now?
Tip: No! You cannot come into the out now.
Oh: But I can, you are just having to take away the piece of wood. I will shoot forth the lasers from my eyeballs.
Tip: You can do that?
Oh: Yes
Tip: Huh

Oh and Tip meet in a convenience store where Tip traps Oh in a cooler. Oh uses his charm to transform them from enemies into instant best buds.
Do Not Drink the Lemonade!
Tip: Okay, pee break.
Oh: Ooohh, I too has to break pee.
...
Oh: Ahh! Do not eat the blue mints! Thankfully, there is a large bowl of lemonade.
...
Oh: Do not drink the lemonade!

A quick bathroom break provides some useful lessons for Oh. When eating the blue mint (urinal cake) doesn't work out well, he tries to wash it down with what he thinks is lemonade in the toilet bowl. He soon understands that he's made two huge mistakes.
These Delicious Fruits
Captain Smek: What plant grows these delicious fruits?

Captain Smek thinks he's come upon a delicious fruit on earth. Little does he know, that delicious fruit he's eating is actually a football. Yum!
My Turn for Driving
Oh: My turn for driving! Keys please!
Tip: You are a terrible driver!
Oh: Look, I has found our car.
Tip: Are you trying to drive me crazy?

Oh demands his turn to drive, something that Tip reluctantly agrees to. Tip soon regrets this mistake and learns that Oh is an absolutely horrible driver.
Your Gratitude is Implied
Tip: What did you do to my car?
Oh: It should to hover much better now... I am prepared to accept one of your traditional gestures of human gratitude.
Tip: Our tradition is to punch you in the nose. Hold still.
Oh: Your gratitude is implied.

Oh takes it upon himself to make some upgrades to Tip's car. While Tip is not especially impressed, Oh gives himself her gratitude anyway.
Nobody's Perfect
Oh: Among Boov, I do not fit in.
Tip: Nobody's perfect. Your mistakes are what make you human.

Oh reveals that he does not feel at home amongst his fellow Boov. But as Tip reminds him of, no one is perfect.
Boov Do Not Dancing!
Tip: Let's have some tunage.
Oh: This is not even music. This is just noise... Involuntary physical response! Confusion! What is happening to my body?
Tip: It's called dancing.
Oh: Boov do not dancing!
Tip: I can tell!
Oh: How long before this kills me? I am not in control of my own extremities.
Tip: Work it!
Oh: I do not want it to work.
Tip: Hey, you know what? Boov rhymes with groove! Shake your Boov thing!
Oh: It is shaking in the most undignified way! Oh, no! My hands are in the air like I just do not care!

When Tip turns on some music in the car, Oh gets a lesson in dancing. He feels the music and moves to the beat, though not exactly very well.
No More Running Away
Captain Smek: My fellow Boov, give daddy some sugar! Well thank you! I have saved us again by finding this new home planet where we will forever be safe from our enemies. Well thank you! Now just this side! Now this one! No more running away. Welcome home! ... Run for your lives!

Captain Smek addresses the Boov when they land on a new planet. Smek is sure that they've found a new home but the monster that appears trying to eat them all soon changes that thought.

The Greatest Animated Disney Villains

The Greatest Animated Disney Villains

Who is the greatest animated Disney villain? Everyone, it seems, has a favorite. Over the decades, Disney movies have given movie goers some of the most dastardly villains in cinema history. They may be animated, but that doesn't mean they aren't, well, mean! This list includes some of the best Disney movie villains ever but are specifically villians in animated movies, so be sure to vote for your favorites, vote down the villains you don't think are worthy of the top spots, and add any disney villains who are missing.

Vote: The Best Disney Princesses

Disney villains come in many forms. Some, like the evil sorcerer Jafar ('Aladdin') and the "Mistress of All Evil,' Maleficent ('Sleeping Beauty'), have magical powers that allow them to wreak havoc on their poor, unsuspecting victims. Great Walt Disney movie villains may also be "regular" people who are simply bad apples.

Speaking of bad apples, Queen Grimhilde, from Disney's classic 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,' didn't necessarily have magical powers, but she was cruel beyond measure to Snow White, and a schemer of the highest order. Certainly, the same could be said of the horrible, no good Cruella de Vil from Disney's '101 Dalmatians.'

Rank: The Best Movie Villains of All Time

Some of the best Disney movie villains aren't even human. Examples? How about the evil python Kaa from 'The Jungle Book'? And without question Scar, the power hungry, sinister baby brother of Mufasa in 'The Lion King' is worthy of a spot on this list. Finally, last but certainly not least, the Big Bad Wolf from Walt Disney's 'Three Little Pigs' is a menacing character.

The All-Time Greatest Pixar Characters

PIXAR animation studios has been churning out a string of beloved comedy-adventure films since the release of the first "Toy Story" movie in 1995. Their films are populated by a diverse crop of memorable characters, from the living playthings of the "Toy Story" films to the sentient cars of the "Cars" series to the human superheroes of "The Incredibles." Help us determine the final order of this list by voting for your favorite characters so far!

Before breaking into feature-length animated films, the company specialized in animated shorts (such as "Luxo Jr.," which gave rise to the studio's now-familiar desk lamp logo.) PIXAR (owned by Disney) continues to produce animated shorts to this day, which air before the feature films. Characters from both feature-length and short animated productions are included on this list. Characters who appeared in multiple PIXAR movies are listed with the first film in which they featured.

'90s Cartoon Tattoos

Cartoons today just aren’t the same. If you’ve ever found yourself staring at those new computer-generated characters in horror, you’re not alone. Gone are the good old days when real cartoons roamed the screen; those happy golden years of belching, hand-drawn figures. If you long for the cartoons of yesteryear, join us as we celebrate a collection of overly-enthusiastic folks who took their love of the best ‘90s cartoons to the extreme. You guessed it! We assembled a list of the wildest and wackiest ‘90s cartoon tattoos!

Meet a group of ‘90s kids who never got over that joy of that wonderful decade, and have the ink to prove it. This bunch boldly looked today’s educational programming in the face and said, “Nay. For us there shall be no learning of colors or counting of numbers, but instead: reruns that celebrate true heroes, like a bold little Chihuahua named Ren and his frequently flatulent friend, Stimpy!”

If you’re ready to eschew today’s lame cartoons, with their alphabet memorization and nursery rhyme nonsense, look no further than to the ideals of Turtle Power, Mario-like Brotherhood, and Duck Tales that form the very foundations of television. Because nothing “strength, honor, and national pride” like a guy with a football shaped head or an Earthworm dressed in a cape. And so it is in their honor that we launch forth into the bold world of ‘90s cartoon tats.

Vote for the best ‘90s cartoon tattoos, and if you come across something better (or have your own awesome ‘90s tattoo), add it to the list!

Robin Williams's iconic performance as Genie in Aladdin is one of the best vocal roles in any Disney film. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen also gave great performances as Woody and Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movies. Johnny Depp brought the character of Rango to life with his expressive vocals.

Some famous women also voiced animated characters. Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu both gave great performances in Kung Fu Panda. Oscar-winner Meryl Streep did a great job being the voice of reason as Mrs. Fox in The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Perhaps one of the the best animated voiceovers from a famous actress would be Cameron Diaz's portrayal of Princess Fiona in Shrek.

100+ Easter Eggs from Every Pixar Movie

Second only to maybe Marvel Studios and their wealth of comic references, cinema's Easter egg king is most certainly Pixar. The animators work on these films for years at a time and like to sneak in little jokes and references for fans to discover for years to come. People scour these films with a fine tooth comb looking for anything that throws back to Pixar film history, or makes references to upcoming films that just might hint at Pixar's next big hit. This list of Pixar Easter eggs has over 200 fun facts and little details you might not have noticed from all Pixar’s films.

Pixar Animation Studios have not only consistently plugged their own films with sneaky little nods, but they've also invented recurring companies and items spread throughout their filmography. This both ties together all the Pixar movies, and cuts down on annoying and distracting product placement for real companies.

For example, either Dinoco or Buy n Large appear in nearly every Pixar film. Pizza Planet also makes an appearance in literally every single Pixar film except The Incredibles. And let’s not forget the other Pixar inside jokes including the the crazy places they hid A113 (the classroom where most of the guys met in college), the Luxo ball (which was first featured in an early Pixar short), and many Apple references (Steve Jobs co-founded Pixar, after all), which are all a part of the Pixar universe.

We've decided to do a round up of ALL the Pixar Easter eggs and sort them into groups (by movie for the most part). As it stands, we’ve contained over 200 Easter eggs in 100 categories! There are even a couple references to Newt (a movie they never even finished making), Star Wars (owned by parent company Lucasfilm), and some Kubrick films as well. Enjoy the wonderful world of Pixar with these cleverly hidden Easter eggs!
