Since the beginning of the Pokemon anime series, over 20 Pokemon movies have been produced, 17 of which saw a theatrical release. That being said, what is the best Pokemon movie of all time? These movies span from the original generation 1 Pokemon, all the way through the current XY generation. Do you remember when the very first Pokemon movie was released? It's hard to believe that Pokemon the First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back, came out all the way back in 1998. Right behind Marvel and Pixar, the Easter egg king of Hollywood movie making is most certainly Disney. The animators work on these films for years at a time, and like to sneak in little jokes and references for fans to discover for years to come. People scour these movies with a fine tooth comb, looking for any clever Disney Easter eggs and hidden nods that throw back to Disney’s storied history. This list includes all kinds of fun facts and little details you might not have noticed in Disney’s animated classics.

Disney has been planting Easter eggs (by hand and frame by frame, back in the day) since before the term was even relevant. From Genie's many, many references to other classic Disney movies in Aladdin, to the many Lady and the Tramp nods in 101 Dalmatians, Easter eggs in Disney movies are everywhere, if you're only paying attention!

Which Hollywood actors have given some of the best animated VO performances in film? Robin Williams is at the top of the list. Robin Williams's iconic performance as Genie in Aladdin is one of the best vocal roles in any Disney film. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen also gave great performances as Woody and Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movies. Johnny Depp brought the character of Rango to life with his expressive vocals.

Some famous women also voiced animated characters. Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu both gave great performances in Kung Fu Panda. Oscar-winner Meryl Streep did a great job being the voice of reason as Mrs. Fox in The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Perhaps one of the the best animated voiceovers from a famous actress would be Cameron Diaz's portrayal of Princess Fiona in Shrek.

The characters in the show are typically on some kind of journey, traveling unfamiliar territory and working towards some kind of goal. In Samurai Champloo, the main characters are traveling through Japan in search of the samurai who smells of sunflowers, for example. Adventure anime often features a group of heroes, rather than just one or two protagonists. The shows below are both old new, featuring established shows like Cowboy Bebop and newer ones like Sword Art Online and Log Horizon. A list of the best DC animated feature length movies including new DC animated movies as well. These are feature length animated films based on DC comics such as Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern, characters that live within the DC Universe. In the 1990s, when live action movies based on DC Comics were in a slump, the Warner Bros' DC animation division took the reins, putting forth great quality animated films led by the likes of Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, and Alan Burnett. Today, animated films based on DC Comics are still popular. 
 

What are the best DC animated movies? Are the animated Batman movies like Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman Beyond: The Return of the Joker your favorites? DC Comics is currently owned by DC Entertainment, which in turn is owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment. These may not be all the DC animated movies, but they are the greatest.
 

You may think this is a list of DC movies, but in fact it is list of DC animated movies only. So you won’t find the likes of The Dark Knight, or Man of Steel here, but you will for sure see all the Superman animated movies. Maybe once DC makes enough we can have a Justice League movies list.

You know the series welll and have watched every episode, so now you want to know what the best anime like Attack on Titan is. Attack on Titan is not the first anime that features giants as the main protagonists, but it introduced many new touches on the genre, particularly the fear and helplessness that the human race feels when pitted against these monsters. With so many fans of the show, people often ask what the best anime like Soul Eater is. If you're unfamiliar, Soul Eater is another show that embraces the concept of shinigami, or soul reapers, as a basic premise, but with a unique touch: one turns into a weapon and other is the wielder of the weapon. The world it's set in is completely bizarre, complete with a sinister smiling moon, zany characters and peculiar witches that add a lot of flair to the show. If you've finished the series and have to have more, there are plenty of other anime similar Soul Eater that you should definitely check out. It's one of the most popular shonen anime of all time, but what other similar shows are worth watching? Here are 20+ anime like Bleach, along with explanations of what makes them similar. Bleach is a story that follows teenager Ichigo Kurosaki after he becomes accidentally embroiled in a supernatural battle, and then gains powers of soul reaper. There are hundreds of episodes, and while it's a very riveting and exciting anime, there are many similar to it that are definitely worth your time. Some of these shows involve concepts about enforcers from the afterlife and collectors of human souls called shinigami. For an older anime that you might like, Yuyu Hakusho is very similar to Bleach, as both shows involve a group of fighters with special abilities, and a setting of heaven and the underworld. 15 Kids Cartoons That Should Be Made Into Movies
Children of '80s and early '90s spent a lot of Saturday mornings watching cartoons: from funny cartoons to anime, they took in the modern cartoons as well as reruns of some of the amazing cartoons from the '60s and '70s. They watched the best cartoons and the worst cartoons. As long as it was animated and intended to be fun for kids, they watched it. Over time, a lot of the greats have been made into feature length films (some good, some bad), but there are still a wealth of titles that have yet to be given the feature film treatment and that is a missed opportunity.

You may have asked yourself before: which kids cartoons should be adapted for the big screen? Nostalgic fans of the cartoons of the '60s through the '90s would certainly flock to theaters to see big-screen adaptations of the titles they grew up watching every weekend. Whether the adaptation is live action like the Transformers movie or animated like The Jetsons movie, nostalgia buffs don't necessarily care (as long as it is done right). 

With all of that said: it's safe to say that cartoon buffs are anxious to see some of the classic cartoons of yesteryear adapted for the big screen. Here are fifteen picks for kids cartoons that should be made into movies.

Animaniacs
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot were such clever characters and a testament to the creativity that went in to the cartoons of years past. An animated adaptation of this '90s series geared for the big screen would be a welcome sight for an entire generation that grew up watching this whacky trio!
Darkwing Duck
The small screen exploits of the crime fighting Darkwing Duck enchanted a generation. The '90s show was both humorous and highly entertaining. An animated adaption of the series would be a welcome turn of events for fans of this hilarious cartoon series!
Dexter's Laboratory
This sharply scripted show made its premiere in 1996. Though it is a kids cartoon, it was intended to appeal to more than just young kids. The fact that this '90s cartoon successfully appealed to both kids and adults alike is all the more reason to give this cartoon the big-screen treatment. It would probably work best if it remained as a cartoon (rather than attempting to recapture the magic as a live action film).  
Gargoyles
"Gargoyles" is a much loved children's cartoon that began its run in 1994. Many fans of the show feel that it was too short lived and would be thrilled to see this cartoon series adapted for the big screen. Perhaps "Gargoyles" would be best suited as a CG film, similar to the way the cartoon series "The Smurfs" was adapted for the screen. 
Jem
Jem, Jem is excitement. Ooh, Jem. This cartoon classic still has a huge and fiercely loyal cult following. Etsy is littered with "Jem" merchandise. It seems only natural to give the fans closure to the series, as it ended much sooner than its fans would have liked. Jem fans would be love to see the characters portrayed by actors in a live-action version of the beloved television series.  
M.A.S.K.
Matt Trakker and the M.A.S.K. team are some of the coolest '80s cartoon characters ever. They are swift purveyors of justice and would make a great addition to the growing list of cartoon characters that have taken to the big screen. "M.A.S.K." would make for a great live action adaptation, similar to the way cartoons like "G.I. Joe" have received live action adaptations. 
Space Ghost
Space Ghost is an epic and hilarious character that first appeared in the '60s and then resurfaced in the '90s on "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast." Space Ghost would be perfect for a live-action feature film or an animated feature. A live action feature would likely bring a bigger box office yield, but fans of the wisecracking Space Ghost will take him however they can get him!

"ThunderCats" was a series about human-cat hybrid creatures that fought crime and kicked ass. This series featured an absolutely awesome villain in the dastardly Mumm-Ra. Seeing the Thundercats hit the big screen would be a dream come true for fans of the series. It's hard to say whether the film would work best as an animated or live action feature, but fans will gladly take what they can get if the proposed film sticks to the series' origins and do right by fans. 

*Side note: This beloved cartoon has been pitched time and again to studios for the big-screen treatment and has been very close on several occasions but nothing has come through as of yet. 
Sailor Moon
One of the most cosplayed characters of all time, Sailor Moon and her cohorts are an obvious choice to make the leap to the big screen. Fans of the classic cartoon would undoubtedly be lined up around the block to get tickets for a "Sailor Moon" film. "Sailor Moon" could probably work as a live-action adaptation or a cartoon, but many of the fans are partial to the anime-style animations of the cartoon series. 
The Tick
This comic book series turned cartoon enjoyed a short lived live-action television series but "The Tick" still has not been given the feature-film treatment. Tick fans would love to see Patrick Warburton reprise his role as The Tick (from the live-action TV series) in a major feature film exploring the exploits of this bumbling superhero and his sidekick Arthur.

Whether you grew up with these characters or caught them on reruns, the best black animated characters are all here, from Fat Albert to Carl Carlson. Some have funny stories to tell; others, tales of mishaps and adversity. They all, however, have personalities that have earned them each a spot among the greatest black characters in animation.

 Black animated characters have filled many roles over the years, and some have even made history. Disney, for example, made headlines in 2009 with the movie The Princess and the Frog. It was the first animated Disney film to feature an African-American princess. Of course, animated African-American characters were popular long before Disney decided to create one. Children of the late 60s and early 70s perhaps remember watching a few of the best black animated characters on Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.

 Not all black animated characters are for children, though. A few of the greatest black characters can be found on shows with decidedly grown-up humor. There's no doubt that Chef from South Park and Cleveland from both Family Guy and The Cleveland Show are proof that the best black animated characters can be lewd, raucous, and funny.

Luffy and the Strawhats are great and all, but what would One Piece be without its villains? Here is our ranked list of the best One Piece villains, including bad guys from every arc since the show's start. What's great about the show is that villains in the earlier episodes can be just as loved as the more recent ones. Sure Buggy the Clown is kind of lame, but what about Arlong? He debuted in just the 31st episode of the anime, but had a really big impact on the show. All the warlords of the sea are great villains, including both Crocodile and Kuma the Tyrant. Then there are enemies like CP9, lead by Rob Lucci who was the first to make Luffy use his third gear technique. No matter who your favorite One Piece villain is, we want to hear from you. They cover only Dragon Ball Z and not the other Dragon Ball properties, so no games featuring the original or GT will be included below. There are a staggering amount of games that this franchise has given birth to, but this list only includes the top DBZ games. Is there anything better than controlling Goku or Vegeta and executing their special attacks? One thing that's unique about DBZ fighting games is that they allow you to fight in the sky, something that you won't see in most other games.
